Please put this on your calendar and if at all possible, plan to attend. I promise you your time, energy and money spent on this event will be well worth it.
Thanks,
Jerry

4th Annual

“RIDE FOR RETT SYNDROME”
Motorcycle Ride
Please join us Saturday, August 28, 2010, for a ride that could make all the difference!
What? - Rett Syndrome is a devastating neurological disease that primarily affects young girls and women. Girls with Rett Syndrome cannot talk, many cannot walk, and most cannot use their hands. They require total care from parents or care-givers.
Who? - ALL RIDERS/BIKERS are welcome!! All monies collected will benefit local girls and women with Rett Syndrome. The ride will benefit SRSA (Southeastern Rett Syndrome Alliance), The Rett Syndrome Center at UAB, and IRSF (International Rett Syndrome Foundation).
Where? - Registration begins at 9:00 AM at the Heart of Dixie Harley Davidson, Pelham, AL. Registration/donation is $25/bike. The ride starts at 10:00 AM and ends at approximately 12:30 PM, at Veteran’s Park in Alabaster. We will be grilling hotdogs at the end of the ride for everyone!!
Why? - Because the girls need your help, their families need your help, and treatment is becoming a reality. We promise that you will meet some of the sweetest, most beautiful girls in the world.
If you have any questions, please call Suzanne Oberholster at (205) 277-9071 or e-mail at: suzober@att.net

A little more info on this ride...
No covered bridges, dirt roads or interstates will be harmed during this important event. This ride meanders through some back roads towards Montevallo and then winds up at Veterans Park in Alabaster where lunch will be provided. There will also be a 50/50 drawing. Wolfie, you may enter, but if you win we may have to get a ruling on winning back to back 50/50 drawings. Also, the first 100 riders to register will get a free ride t-shirt. More importantly, you will get a chance to show off your rides and put a smile on the faces of the girls with Rett Syndrome who will be in attendance. I look forward to seeing those who are able to participate in this great event.

Jerry Home Safe, Sound & Soaked. The monsoon is in Springville, Al.  Except for the last 5 miles, great weather, great ride, great cause & great friends. I would like to thank personally Dave, Juanita, Mel, JR, Kathy, Ricky, Pat, Doug, Kelly, West &  Jackie..no..Janice..no..Jessica..no..Jane..no…JANET, that’s it (you guys really need to come ‘round more often), for supporting this event.  A special thanks, again, to Wolfie & Lizard for the escort home.  Looking forward to the next weekend everyone.
